Salutem, i'm Lee and I really need to shut up. I believe that this is the space were i'm supposed to describe myself, but in a deep, mysterious way. Unfortunately, i'm neither deep nor mysterious. Sorry to disappoint. Anyway, my name is Lee Elodie Gracie, i'm a 16 year old female human person and I don't live anywhere. That's not supposed to sound profound or anything, I just don't live anywhere. My father and I travel a lot, and although we have a condo in Colorado, we only spend about two months out of the year there. So, I aspire to be a photographer, live in New York, and own five dogs. Also, I speak three languages fluently and two others roughly. I can play guitar, uke and piano. Wow... I kinda sounded like a douche just then. Ummmm, I love reading more than air and I like using big words. Okay, that's all I have to say. Live long and prosper.

Why, hello there :). My father is an archaeologist. Although, he doesn’t go on digs anymore. He mostly gives lectures at university s and such.
Jennifer Collier uses books, maps and other paper to create decorative verisons of household objects and clothing. Treating the paper as a textile fabric, she employs sewing, wax and other forms of bonding to hold her creations together.
The result are these incredibly pretty objects that have a distinct naive and innocent feeling about them. I first came across Collier’s work at college whilst working on a book art project for my textiles A-level. I was completely taken in by the simplistic aesthetic her work has, but also the obvious skill and patience that has gone in to making them.
